TCI supports the first National Adolescent Health and Development Conference in Nepal

The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), GIZ and other development partners will host an international conference in Kathmandu on 2-3 May 2016. The conference will bring together policy makers, youth, sexual health activists, leading development practitioners, researchers, students, performers, artists, and media on one platform to discuss current challenges and identify effective and efficient strategies to address issues relating to Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights in Nepal. The insights and analyses presented in this conference will provide an orientation to define goals and design future interventions on this issue, and refine the process for driving out customized solutions. Particular emphasis will be given to ensuring the meaningful participation of the region’s young population in conceptualizing future ASRHR interventions. Jost Wagner of TCI will be the lead facilitator and senior advisor for the process design supported by Ms. Nathamon for the various interactive and engaging formats such as World Cafe, Market Place, Caravan etc.
